Younity is looking for a Sales Engineer!
This role will assist our sales team and clients with our products’ technical aspects. This includes, pre-sales site surveys, informing and training clients on products’ proper use, and working with our design team in order to enhance the customer experience and improve satisfaction. The Sales Engineer also takes an active role in pre-sales and sales engineering by preparing presentations and other sales process related documentation.

In the Sales Engineer role, you will play a major part in the pre-sales and post-sales process. Expertise in the technical elements of the product and clarity of instruction are important competencies in this position. Success in this role will be demonstrated through improvements in the generation of sales leads and retention of clients.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Responds in a timely way to product-related inquiries
- Informs and trains clients about products and new features
- Conducts customer interviews and documents customer pain points and requests
- Reports customer feedback
- Coordinates with the sales team
- Monitors sales
- Prepares sales presentations and other pre-sales documentation
- Conducts research on additional related and relevant products
Minimum 3 years of experience in a client facing technical position for a company in the industry.
A knowledge base of the various low voltage and building technology solutions, terminologies, and brands.
Proficient in MS Office / GSuite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
