About The Role
Younity is looking for a Network Engineer who is passionate about smart buildings, improving our living experience, and has a deep understanding of designing, implementing, and monitoring production systems.

You will be working with a team of world-class network engineers, along with our support and operation teams. Additionally, you will be working directly with our 3rd party vendors and contractors. This role will be responsible for installing our product in production and live environments, participating in building and improving the network architecture, managing performance bottlenecks, and improving the security and resilience of our platform.

If you’re a get-it-done, hands-on, creative thinker, and a people person this role is for you.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a network engineer
• Experience working in mission-critical production-grade environments
• Experience working with software engineers
• Experience with wireless systems, including monitoring and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Obsessed about customer experience, enjoys being in front of customers
• Creative thinker, problem solver, hacker, and Jedi
• Passionate about solving big problems in small teams
• Hands-on coding experience and cloud services - a plus
• Responsibilities
• Report directly to the VP of Operations
• Deploy our platform in production environments
• Quickly identify and resolve performance issues and bugs
• Conduct on-site due diligence for our new locations
• Test, verify, and approve new deployments
• Improve the resilience of our systems,
• Collaborate with our engineering and support teams to improve our deployment efficiency
• Develop new features that increase value for our customers
• Improve our platform architecture and design guidelines
