Younity is seeking a high-performing individual to support our growing operations team with a focus in procurement and logistics. This role will report directly to the Senior Operations Manager and will be responsible for executing on and improving our wireless deployments and customer support nationwide.

The Role:
The Procurement and Logistics Manager will work cross-functionally to support Operations and ensure hardware needs are met for future deployments and customer support. This includes forecasting, purchasing, and managing the movement, distribution, and warehousing of all materials. They will also work closely with Engineering and Finance to provide better visibility into our inventory and project costs. This role is primarily on-site at our corporate office and local warehouse with flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase hardware/software based on upcoming project needs using cost-effective procurement strategies.
- Assist in creating forecasts and cost alignment between finance and operations.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Receiving, upkeep and organization of physical and virtual inventory in both the company warehouse and inventory management system.
- Manage last-mile logistics, ensuring all hardware is delivered to its final destination in accordance with the project timeline.
- Work closely with the R&D/Engineering team to source and manage lab/demo hardware.
- Support implementation in back-end project management tasks such as upkeep of systems and tools.
- Take on new tasks outside of everyday responsibilities to support the growth of a rapidly expanding startup and help improve current standards and processes.Requirements:
- 1-3 years of professional experience in operations, procurement, technology, or with a startup.
- Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, or logistics.
- Scheduling flexibility for receiving/shipping materials to site.
- Good communicator (both written and verbal), passionate, entrepreneurial, target driven, and open to changing priorities.
- Comfortable using web based collaboration tools including Airtable, Slack, Google Suite, Asana, and more.
