What We’re Looking For

Source is looking for their first Head of Marketing, reporting to the Founder & CEO. As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and leading overall marketing strategy, leveraging your expertise to build a strong brand presence, and driving the successful execution of marketing campaigns to accelerate growth. In partnership with the CEO, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and provide strategic insights that will inform decision-making across the organization.

The position is a full time, salary, remote role and can be located anywhere within the United States.

Salary for this position is: $160,000 - $190,000 per year.


  • Marketing Strategy:

    • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's vision, values, and goals.

    • Conduct market research to identify target audiences, industry trends, and competitor analysis.

    • Define clear value propositions and positioning that resonate with customers.

  • Branding and Communications:

    • Build and maintain a strong brand identity that conveys the company's unique selling points and values.

    • Develop and oversee the creation of compelling marketing collaterals, website content, and other communications materials.

    • Ensure consistent messaging across all channels and touchpoints.

  • Digital Marketing and Customer Acquisition:

    • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and conversion.

    • Optimize digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.

    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

  • Product Marketing:

    • Collaborate with the product team to develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches.

    • Craft compelling product narratives and messaging to drive adoption and customer engagement.

  • Lead Generation and Demand Generation:

    • Implement lead generation strategies to build a qualified sales pipeline.

    • Collaborate with the sales team to optimize lead handoff and conversion rates.

  • Data Analysis and Performance Measurement:

    • Analyze marketing performance data to derive actionable insights and optimize campaign performance.

    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on marketing metrics to the executive team.

  • Team Leadership and Development:

    • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.

    • Mentor and develop team members, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in building and leading successful marketing strategies for early stage startups or high-growth companies, ideally 5+ years in a leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and customer acquisition techniques to drive growth in a marketplace business, leveraging industry experience.

  • Demonstrated success in driving growth and achieving business objectives through marketing initiatives.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and optimize marketing performance.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

  • A passion for innovation and the drive to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Bonus: previous experience in, or pursuing a degree in, the commercial architecture/design/construction industry

Communicable Disease Safety Protocols

Source will stay abreast of guidance from federal, state and local health agencies and communicate updates and changes to our employees.
