What We’re Looking For
Source is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Project Coordinator in our Purchasing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing furniture and accessories for our clients. The Purchasing Project Coordinator will work with internal teams to determine product needs, research vendors, and negotiate best prices and terms.
The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of furniture and accessories, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to create cost-effective purchasing strategies. Being highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently is essential for this role.
The position is a full time, salary, remote position and can be located anywhere within the United States.
The salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000.
Objective:
A project coordinator is to effectively support multiple Project Managers and manage the coordination needed from the Project Manager and Logistics team for 8-10 projects that are in the expediting phase.
Responsibilities
Sourcing and negotiating contracts with furniture and accessory vendors
Working with proprietary Source software to configure new projects and complete specification entry
Coordinating project resources, tasks, and timelines
Building project budgets and cash flows
Researching and evaluating product options
Working with internal teams to determine product needs and specifications
Developing project plans and ensuring timely completion
Supporting project managers with day-to-day operations and project needs
Monitoring and reporting on project progress
Identifying and resolving project issues
Ensuring that quality standards are met
Tracking and managing inventory
Tracking progress and ensuring projects meet quality standards
Working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure successful project completion
Reporting project status to internal project stakeholders
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, related field, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of project coordination or management experience
Proven experience in furniture and accessory procurement
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Knowledge of project management software and tools
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
