Maybern is an NYC based company with a strong in-office culture to drive collaboration, and we are looking to make strong additions to our team.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a seasoned product-focused engineer to lead a greenfield product launch that is critical to our roadmap. Ideally you have spent several years at high growth companies and have led product launches from 0 to 1 and have collaborated closely with product teams to ship world class products.

What You'll Do

To thrive in this role, you must be an entrepreneurial engineer who enjoys getting into the weeds.

• Build: ​​Build, test, and deploy software in a continuous manner

• Lead: Architect, scope, and build core parts of our system from the ground up

• Partner: Work closely with problem experts to design elegant, flexible solutions that solve our early clients' problems while being forward-thinking about future use cases

This Could Be a Great Fit If You…

• Have 7+ years of experience as top engineer building new products from the ground up

• Expert level knowledge of backend system design

• Experience working with server-side languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, Java) and web frameworks (e.g. Django, Rails)

• Have worked in multiple cloud environments, AWS is preferred.

• Been a technical lead and mentonted other engineers on code reviews and best practices.

• Worked at an early stage startup

• Desire to be in the office 4-5 days a week to maximize collaboration.
