Job Overview

As a Senior Sales Representative of Enterprise B2B software Platform, you will be a driving force among our sales team. Your ability to work quickly, and effectively to build relationships with our consumers will be key. The primary responsibility is to grow, develop, and manage existing customer relationships across Commercial Real estate (CRE), Retail, Data centers, identify new opportunities for the company, and drive growth. Overall business development will be required. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Smart Buildings and IoT.

This is a remote role

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, and develop sales leads to create a pipeline and close opportunities
  • Generate and implement sales presentations catered to various customer segments
  • Manage existing accounts to maintain professional business relations
  • Maintain integrity and honesty, and close deals ethically with consumers
  • Plan and implement sales strategies, budgets, and volumes alongside the business operations team to track quotas
  • Achieve consistent sales over time and drive growth to exceed sales objectives
  • Work with strategy and marketing team to help drive lead gen activities
  • Manage post-sale handoff to customer success teams
  • Stay current with industry trends, and monitor competition
  • No limitation on territory (global opportunity)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required. An advanced degree in engineering or business is highly desired
  • 5-7 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management roles
  • Sales experience in Building Automation systems is highly desirable
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Senior Account Management experience, preferably with smart building or IoT
  • Ability to negotiate fairly, and possess a passion for finding and selling to new customers
  • Have an understanding of business relationships and how to develop healthy client relations
  • Possess a determination to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Must be willing to travel 50-60% of the time within the assigned territory

Compensation

The cash compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $180,000.

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and potentially geographic location. In addition to cash compensation, all employees receive an equity compensation package.
