About the Role

The Managing Director will be the HqO leader of the city responsible for maintaining and growing HqO’s footprint in the southeast US Market. The MD will manage a small team focused on building relationships with Corporate Real Estate professionals throughout the region. They will lead sales and market development efforts and will initially build and oversee a team consisting of a Sales Associate and Field Marketing. This person will have P&L responsibility and will be measured on their ability to run a profitable city business. As their business grows they will determine what additional people resources or investments are required within their P&L to further accelerate growth. They will need to be a strong relationship builder, bring superior organizational and management skills along with a true passion for targeted strategies that drive results for our clients.

What you'll do

  • Develop and own customer relationships for some of the largest commercial real estate landlords on the planet

  • Be the voice of the customer inside of HqO to ensure our products meet market demand

  • Coach, manage and mentor team members

  • Achieve profitability targets

  • Build and own the strategic plan to grow HqO’s footprint in the region

  • Inform the direction of product development, sales processes and company culture

What you bring

  • 10+ years of previous sales experience in a fast-paced work environment

  • A self-starter and proficient with data

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Entrepreneurial and willing to innovate to drive success in the market

  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision

  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

  • Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations, design effective processes, and prioritize ruthlessly
